No overheating of the base metal & no risk of impaired corrosion resistance.
•
X-ray quality weld deposits.
•
Perfect for extra low carbon versions of stainless metal.
•
Resistant to intergranular corrosion up to service temps of +400oC
•
High Molyebdenum content for corrosion resistance.
•
Moisture resistant
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:
Ideal for welding 204, 304, 304L,316, 316L and other common grades of austenitic stainless steel. Other applications include: Food processing & Hospital equipment, valves, stainless piping, thin stainless installations, and corrosive chemical handling.
Welding Parameters RECOMMENDED CURRENT: DC REVERSE (+), or AC
•
Technical Data:
Undiluted Weld Metal
Maximum Value Up to:
Tensile Strength

87,000 PSI
•
Procedure: Welding in vertical down position, maintain a tight arc and tip the alloy 15 - 20 degrees in the direction of travel. Straight stringer beads will yield the best results, do not weave.
